ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Kathy Cole, Senior Master Instructor
Upon relocating to Ft Myers, FL from Central FL in 2007, Kathy became an ISR instructor after realizing a huge need for the program in the SWFL area. Kathy's background includes a BA in Psychology from Rollins College as well as a MS in Health Services Administration from University of Central Florida. She has taught over 2200 students to swim and self-rescue.
She became a Master Instructor in 2012 and has trained 64 ISR Instructors, one of those being her husband, Steve!
A little background on us as a husband/wife ISR team…We met in March of 1993 while working at Walt Disney World! We have been married for 32 years and we have two children who are 30 and 25. Our 25-year-old daughter was an ISR student in Central FL in 2002, and we both became huge advocates of the ISR program at that time after watching her go through her initial lessons and then refresher lessons the following year. We now teach ISR full time in three counties in the Southwest Florida area, typically reaching over 400 students per year together.
In 2018, Kathy was selected by ISR to become a Senior Master Instructor Candidate. In this role, she serves to mentor and develop future Master Instructors and provide continuing education for current ISR instructors. In February of 2023, she supervised her first Master Instructor training in Delaware and in March 2023 she became a Senior Master Instructor. It is rare to find her alone in the water as she is often training new instructors. She has a passion not just for teaching ISR, but for training and mentoring new instructors as they start their own businesses.
SEPTEMBER SESSION DETAILS
Mrs. Kathy is coming to San Marino, CA for 6 weeks to train 2 new ISR instructors for the LA area! Be part of this amazing session and see how in-depth ISR training is.
DATES: 9/14/26-10/23/26
LOCATION: Private heated pool in San Marino; location to be disclosed upon scheduling.
TIMES: 8:00 A.M.-12:30 P.M. Choose your child’s time slot for their daily, 10-minute, one-on-one lesson Monday through Friday for 6 weeks. Keep nap schedules and eating schedules in mind. They cannot have food or drink 2 hrs prior to lessons.
AGES: We teach children ages 6 months to 6 years old. INFANTS must be 6 months plus one day of age by 9/10/26 in order to complete ISR registration. They also must meet the developmental milestone of being able to get into a seated position and sit unassisted for 60 seconds.
Before moving forward with Scheduling, PLEASE read the following:
I UNDERSTAND….
Lessons are 10 min/day, 5 days/week (Mon-Fri) for 6 weeks (average of 30 lessons total).
I should reach out to the instructor prior to scheduling if I have vacation planned during the session.
I will be required to pay a lesson fee deposit of $750 in order to schedule my child for lessons and reserve a time slot. This deposit is non-refundable.
Final payment of $1250 is due the first day of lessons. This can be paid by credit card, check (made out to ISR Fort Myers LLC) or cash.
There is a separate $105 ISR registration fee that must be paid by 9/1 at the link that will be provided in the confirmation email once I schedule. This payment covers a medical/developmental questionnaire that is reviewed by our pediatric nurses on staff to make sure we provide the safest possible lesson for each child.
INVESTMENT: $2000 per child

Some things to know before you do this:
You will be able to choose your child’s start date and time slot once you create an account in our Scheduler software. The system will require you to pay a $750 deposit for each child you are scheduling.
Once you have set up an account in our scheduler software for your child, you will have access to a gift link in your child’s portal that you can share with grandparents/friends/family that can be used to add funds to your child’s account. This makes a great birthday gift idea!
HOW TO SCHEDULE:

Choose ISR Self-Rescue lessons.
Choose your time slot that your child will come every day Mon-Fri for the 6 week session.
Enter your email address and agree to the Liability Release.
Pay your deposit of $750.
Immediately check your email (and spam) for a confirmation email from k.cole@webaccomplice.org. This important email contains the ISR registration link, along with other important information. Please do not forget this step!!
ISR Registration must be completed and paid ($105 reg fee) to ISR by no later than 9/1/26. Please do not complete more than 1 month in advance as medical information can change.
