WHAT WILL YOUR CHILD LEARN?
👶 6–12 MONTHS
ROLLBACK TO FLOAT
If your baby finds themselves face-down in the water, they learn to turn onto their back, float, rest and breathe while waiting for help.
🧒 WALKING CHILDREN ages 1-6
SWIM • FLOAT • SWIM
Children learn to swim, roll onto their backs to breathe and rest, then return to swimming.
👕 AND YES—WE PRACTICE IN CLOTHING
Once children are fully skilled, ISR incorporates clothing into lessons to help prepare them for a real-world water emergency since over 80% of drownings occur during non-swim times.

THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL ISR SESSION
Your child will be working directly with a Senior Master Instructor.
Kathy Cole isn't simply visiting San Marino to teach lessons.
She is coming to California to train two physicians, Peggy Tseng, MD and Kate Yoo, MD, to become ISR instructors.
That means your child gets the benefit of having Kathy personally in the water teaching your child during this intensive instructor-training session, as well as the added expertise of two physicians. You couldn’t find safer lessons for your child!
Kathy is a Senior Master Instructor, the highest level of ISR instructor certification.

WHY EVERY DAY?
ISR skills are sensorimotor skills. Consistent daily practice helps children build the muscle memory needed to perform their skills independently.
That's why ISR lessons are short and frequent, rather than one long lesson each week. This builds the highest retention rate of skills.

If your child is going to grow up around water, these are skills worth learning. These skills are best learned in the off season when you will not be swimming so there is less interference outside of lessons while your student is learning.
